RAZOR Magazine Publisher Richard Botto next to professional boxer Mia St. John. This event, a pajama and lingerie party entitled Rated-R, was the third installment of our RAZOR Lounge series of themed parties.

On June 10, 2002 - The Summer of Swagger continued as RAZOR Magazine embraced its provocative side, as the RAZOR Lounge presented "RATED R - The Pajama and Lingerie Party" at O in downtown Scottsdale.

The slumber party like nothing you experienced as a kid, we can assure you. NBC's EXTRA covered the event exclusively. Kelly Hu, star of one of this summer's top three movies, "The Scorpion King", and star of the upcoming film "X Men 2", was RAZOR's guest host.

The entire event follwoed along the theme of the usual pajama party - only a bit more 'R rated'. A fashion show took place at 9:00 pm showcasing styles and nightwear from H Starlet, LA's hottest new concept in sleepwear, Liquid, downtown Scottsdale's exclusive men's boutique, Cupid's, Arizona's number one lingerie shop, and 2xist, the NY- based men's boxer line. Models adorned in the show's fashions decorated the bar tops, stages, and podiums throughout the evening. Clothing from Liquid and H Starlet were available for purchase and order and 20% of the proceeds went to Team Marbury. Partygoers were encouraged to wear their best nighttime attire, from silk pajamas to smoking jackets - anything goes, ladies and gentlemen. Actress Kelly Hu was wearing her favorite H Starlet piece. "I encouraged guests to throw any inhibitions out the door. Throw on your favorite PJ's or lingerie and get ready to party.
